Hello I have suffered long enough with different style 5 gallon gas cans or nowadays plastic jugs with always spilling some gas when the can is full. It is so heavy and the spouts even with newer designs just do not help!! I had atleast a half dozen or so similar to the ones in the first 2 pics! When they were full and heavy they are harder to tilt and pour! Can they make anything better? Well just maybe they finally did!! Just got this one from Tractor Supply! Why tilt the heavy can to pour if you can just tilt the spout and then use a trigger to pour! Absolutely genius!!! Pic 1 & 2 - Easy to spill cans! Pic 3 & 4 - looks good Pic 5 - It really works - I did not spill a drop!
Good to know you're having good luck with this design. I'll be at good 'ole TSC tomorrow and will have to check these out!
I had already purchased one of these at full price a year ago before we found Lowe's was clearancing them out for $15 each. I have 11 of the 2.2 gallon versions all full of 90 octane ethanol free fuel. They work excellent.
I bought one of these battery powered gas can pumps last spring and love it. I use it all the time to refill the ride on mower, just leave it on the ground instead of having to lift it and pour. I also use it for my diesel in the tractor and even pumped a five gallon pail of hydraulic fluid into the tractor when I changed it this summer.
I use the motocross jugs at least thats what we used them for ,They have no epa filler spouts on them ,just a straight fill tube/pipe.
