Police: Man fatally injured when part of a tree falls on him | AP News
If you have the time to read this article check it out this happened right in my friends back yard….they retired moved to Delaware into a development that was new construction i was there last summer and i remember observing the treeline behind the place and all the trees were small diameter like 12 inches and below im pretty sure….my first thought after hearing the story is why would you go near a tree while an excavator was manipulating it…i assume since this was a smaller diameter tree that was already down he thought it was safe…anyway just thought id share to promote safety

Been there done that. Not uncommon to get up and personal with heavy equipment. I'd be holding the saw and signaling the operator.
Sad but freak accident is all.
