22 degrees is sounding pretty good right now! Its been less than 10°F since Sunday here in Iowa. Wind chill says feels like -26 right now. Supposed to get up to 40 this weekend. Looks like some fun work though, I miss tree work right about now.
Split all the black oak I took home. Man that stuff is super nice to split. Had one round that was half rotten and full of frozen ants so I decided to throw that one out. Otherwise all nicely stacked in a new all plastic pallet holz hausen which I started the other day that has some pine, some tree of heaven, and some norway maple already. Tried organizing the center of the hausen a little more on the anal side since I no longer have shorties or uglies.
I have a good amount of Black oak in my stacks and a bunch more to spilt. And of course some burning in the fireplace as we speak. Lol
