    That's pretty cool.

I'd want to wear some kind of crotchal protection.

Good idea, if you burn 6" long blocks of poplar...I'm saying that thing is in 5 pieces after the first 20" long round from a yard or fence row tree...points awarded for the idea, and making it work for how they do firewood though!

Thanks for posting, that's got to be the shortest firewood that I've seen. :salute:

The machine has Cyrillic writing on it so not sure which country the video was made in or what species they have for standard firewood. Still, as you pointed out the idea is neat, but looking at the speed in which they are trying to feed the machine, I'm sure there were some smashed fingers. Add some GTG libations and it would not be a pretty sight.

I always wonder why I see so many very short cuts of wood in Russia/Europe. Quicker drying? smaller stoves where little chunky pieces fit better?

You ever see the comedian telling his story about a college trip to Russia, the Russian mob, vodka, and a derelict student self named the machine?

Most stoves I've seen and heard of over there tend to take only short stuff.
