How close is that to your house? If you have a WiFi router, I'd suggest a wyze camera. Home depot sells them, or amazon too. The outdoor cam works slick that's was the best $50 +10 for the mount I've spent in a while. There's cases to mount them to things on Amazon, that's what I got.
My wyze outdoor camera hasn't not worked yet, even in very. Cold temps, however cold out it got last winter.
So I think mice chewed through my snowblower auger belt. It worked great for a pass, then the auger stopped running when I tried that. A couple mice ran out of the belt area when I pulled the blower out of the shed. But when I tried it and changed the oil, it was fine. So looking at it it appears that changing the auger belt is kinda a pita. It drives forward and reverse fine. Looks like I need to take the entire blower attachment off of the chassis. Grrr. It wasn't fun shoveling the driveway, that I can say.
It's only about 40 feet from the house and right off the driveway. I have around 15 trail cams, so I'll probably put one or two out. No wifi at the house and no Wyze cams. That stack is near the side door of my snowmobile trailer, and I don't want a nest right next to where I'm walking around (never mind taking up permanent residence in my oak stack).
I have to go shopping tonight. I hate shopping.....crowds, lines, traffic, spending money...all things I don't like. Trying to get back in my work routine today but it has been slow after almost 2 weeks off.
I agree Larry, did you see this weekend some “statistics” came out about the number of fire related deaths for 2021 were high compared to recent years? Seemed like every few days we read of someone died in a fire. I agree, I can think of better ways to go. By the way, happy birthday, make the best of it.
My son has been in Daytona Beach for the past week and is stuck there. He contracted Covid so they won't let him on the airplane. I couldn't get so lucky. Highs in the 70s this week there and we will be in the 20s and 30s.
Double ugg! Mines nothing like that. Luckily. I haven't pulled the cover to see the belts, yet, but I'm fully expecting the drive belt for the auger to be broken. I watched a couple of videos on replacement. It doesn't look that bad, but it's more of an inconvenience. Shear pins are not the issue, I double checked that.
