I think the Good Lord is smiling on you T.Jeff Veal! Given the opportunity, I would make sure no logs were left behind!

Had some more days off this week, so Monday, we moved the tractor back to the honey hole. We sorted through a couple more piles of logs...
Found this gem...a nice ash log 1227211146.jpg
More hickory and white oak 1228211635.jpg
Took a couple hrs, but had a nice pile to cut down to length 1227211146a.jpg
1st load went to our woodyard, logs are 11' long 1227211502.jpg
Our son's FIL, Mr Thompson, uses wood to help heat their house, so he came after lunch and helped. We got them a load that afternoon of the cutoffs 1227211722_HDR.jpg
He went with us Tuesday, really helped out, as I could grab a log, he and Miz Carol would measure and cut log, and I could then just load it. Got us another load of long logs 1228211243_HDR.jpg
That afternoon, we brought a load of 6-8' logs to the woodyard at home. 1228211835_HDR.jpg
We went back Wednesday and got another load for Mr Thompson.
    Their 2 loads... 1229211253a.jpg
We also trimmed the knots close, got about 4 buckets of stove stuffers...
    1228211835.jpg
They started doing a clean up at the honey hole, burning stumps, old pine and sweet gum. Excavator guy pulled out some more ash, hickory and elm for us, probably 1/2 a trailer load. He has an oak head he wants thinned, we can get that wood too. Project for another day.
Good Lord has provided such a blessing for us to use and share. 9 loads total, 6 for us, 3 went to friends

Jeff, I can't think of finer folks to get blessed with a score like that. May that score keep many people warm in the time to come, nice work!

Got the last 3 loads sorted and stacked yesterday.
So, I gotta brag a little, on my GRACIOUS LORD. I've learned you can't outgive GOD, whatever you give away in good faith, HE WILL give more than enough to replace it. I know several members here have given wood away when needed, get ready for HIM to bless you again. Always look for opportunities to help others, make a difference in your part of the world.
What we have been blessed with so far...
    56 hickory logs, 10.5-11' long 1231211406.jpg
42 hickory, oak and maple logs 6-8' long. 3 big hickory on right came from different score. Also have 4 elm logs 10.5' long on the far left
    1231211407.jpg
    24 red/white oak logs 10.5' long 1231211407_HDR.jpg
    14 ash logs 6-10.5' long 1231211801.jpg
We showed up to work and GOD SHOWED OUT.
Looks like we will be busy in 2022.

I didn't post the number earlier, as I knew we would be getting more from that score. About 1/2 trailer load left to get.
Since we cut most of our wood 18", the long logs will make 7 rounds each...
