Well I got myself a pair of wheels and a saw for a very cheap price, I'll strip down the saw for the motor and hopefully have a functioning bandsaw out of it. I'm cautiously optimistic it'll be powerful enough, but if not, it was cheap and I can still use it for something else.

Dammit. A stink bug just flew across the room and I can't find it.
    Heard it, didn't see it.

We're back in business! LOL Got our septic tank pumped out today.

I'm about to be guilty of TMI myself. We live 35 miles from the nearest Walmart, just using that as a benchmark, with no place close to buy a bucket with a seat, I had to improvise something on the go (no pun intended) LOL So I grabbed a bucket and a swimming noodle, and well here's the end product (again, no pun intended). I'm cracking myself up.. .. I'm not sure if Menards or Dollar General would be more offended, by using their products this way!

The bucket seat commode is a good idea, I'm thinking about putting one in my hunting shack if I ever get it built!

I usually try to catch them in a glass jar or cup and put them outside. If they fly away, good for them. If they land on the ground - meet my foot.

This early in the morning, sometimes the brain takes a second or two to recalibrate between different conversations. This is what my mind put together real quick

Crazy weather forecasters must be going crazy with so little to talk about locally. So yesterday afternoon they start forecasting 6-12" snow for Saturday. Oh boy! Something to scare the people and clear store shelves of tp and milk! This morning that forecast is from 2-4" or less than an inch, depending on who does the forecasting.

I still have not plowed snow this season. A record for me.

It's great to see California getting a lot of rain and snow, they desperately need it to get some good snow pack in the mountains and water in their reservoirs. The down side could be mudslides.

That's interesting to watch, some are smart enough to not go inside, the one outside even grunted to warn the hogs inside. I'm surprised there's not a noisy ruckus when they're panicked and trying to escape.

I did the exact same! WWW puts coarse sea salt in a little pump beebee gun to shoot spiders & bugs and I thought "who knew they make differen't grain salt".

Blowing like crazy here, total white out, a couple drifts are 10' tall under the trampoline is clear. Otherwise with the exception of the last few weeks this is the warmest winter I've seen up here. I'm ready to turn the page on 2021. I have a strong gut feeling 2022 will be better.

We’ve just had days of rain and gloom. The sun has been elusive this past week. The only good thing is the over nite temps don’t get much below freezing, if that low. And the lack of snow is nice. Been using oil heat cause the last fire we lit it got up to 80º in here. That’s just a bit out of my heat range. Waiting for the cool down.

Finally a break in the rain! The ground is super saturated right now but there is one blow down I may be able to get to. Or I'll end up getting the tractor stuck.

Spent most of my day waiting for the PoCo to come and pull the meter at my in-laws house. It was one of those 8-4 appointments. I had to move the wire from the meter to the breaker panel about 8" for a remodel they are doing.

While I was waiting around I got caught up on a bunch of stuff here.
