Christmas gift from my friend

I have mentioned my arborist friend in Old Saybrook. He asked me if I wanted a load of red oak, of course I said. He left it in the driveway for me. I’m thinking 1.5- 2 cords. He does cut the big rounds a bit short so he can get them in his trailer, I’m not looking a gift horse in the mouth. Today I split a bunch and brought a truckload home. I will go back with a UHaul trailer next week and bring a bunch home.

 

I would certainly be happy with that.. Nice score.
