Gaylord NWS has been leading up to now but the Keewanaw peninsula is now taking over the lead; Phoenix has 83". That is just 1" away from 7' and we're just a day into winter!

Not much in your neck of the woods yet I’m guessing? We’ve only had a few dustings here really, maybe about 2-3 inches total.

We've had snow twice. Both times looked more like heavy frost, gone by noon.
Chance of a few flurries in the wee hours of Friday morning, mostly before sunrise according to wunderground.

Growing up in Michigan I can remember lots of snow on my birthday November 6th. Have not seen that happen in many years.

Right. We've had the ground white several times but like most, we've also had lots of thawing. Very little left now and that may be gone before night. 35 today followed by a couple days in the 40's.

It doesn't last long coming that early.
