Except for about a cord of scrounge wood over the summer, I’ve doddeling with 6 cord of rounds to get processed. Finally finished that and my reward was to get back in the woods.

This one was partially broken off during Isiasis, or however it’s spelled, and this second part came down this summer.

Standing dead wood takes up less space. You know where it is when the time is right!

Nice work Mike. Perfect day for it. No wind and seasonably brisk.
Was that the one visible from the back yard?

    it was,
When I pointed it out, you taught me the correct pronunciation of Isiasis, but maybe not the spelling.

Nice setup you have for the gathering and hauling out, of your wood. Looks like plenty of trees where you are.

i see your pictures and I feel embarrassed.
I can’t shoot an arrow 20 yards with out a major plan.
You should be able to site goats at 400, only thinking of windage.

Yes sighting a goat at 400 yards is no problem. But the wind definitely is.
