Not sure if he is just limbing the other tree,or taken it down as well. About the same size tree as this one. But either way he is bringing me all that wood as well.

Awesome wood get Matt. Gonna produce lots of splits with those huge rounds. And lots of long lasting btu’s in the firebox when it’s time. Does it get any better?

I think I’m currently at 5-6 years ahead and I dropped another 7-8 trees today. :D You definitely have the saws to do it though!

I was just telling my brother about a big white oak I got. Told my bro that I would have never cut this tree down! This man's sons hunt deer and deer love white oak acorns. Oh well, I said, at least, I got it! I love white oak as firewood, makes good-looking splits, burns great coals, hot.

I have alot of red oak, and a bit of white oak. I love the smell when cutting white oak. And, I'm no whiskey or bourbon drinker.

I agree with you, my neighbor said he was scared of it hanging over his roof. The other tree is over top his shop. He has a 1968 or 69 camaro that is flawless. So I kinda get where he is coming from

You & Hall84 are really a bit disturbed actually liking those monsters. I must be getting old, I get tire of wrestling those 3'+ stems. I wish we lived closer together, I'd just dump them at your places.

I'd take every one. I like a lotta splits per piece.

Yeah, that stuff is hard to handle and the older I get the less I like those big logs.
