My buddies rig. He stayed out on the "road" with his trailer while I went into the woods to skid them to him.:D

It's my buddy's set up. I don't know much about it, but I was impressed with the loader with those big hemlock logs.

I think it's a Metavic 1250 log trailer. It's red which could be Metavic and when I zoomed in on your pic I can see a 1250 on the boom...I think.

Trying to convince the wife I need one of those for firewood.

I know you got the name right, I was just 'sceerd to try to spell it.
His only complaint is the reach of the boom. He's working in the woods on basically tractor width trails and skids them with a farmi winch to the trail side. He's thinning and taking deadwood so it's at very random intervals off the trail. A little more reach would eliminate lots of short relocating of the "rig". A few landings would help but it's not his land that he's working on.

Kubota with large skidsteer bucket can move a whole lotta firewood. 20211215_140749.jpg 20211215_150733.jpg

Grapple made short work of moving these oak logs destined for sawing into lumber - much easier than moving and stacking with pallet forks. 20211218_170053.jpg

Working on getting fluids changed out on my B6100. So I know where it started at. Changing out the transmission/hydraulic fluid out. The first oil that came out looked good. Then this came out last. Should I flush it? Or fill it up and then change it come spring?

Just got the screen pulled off. :hair::hair:. Not thinking it’s been done for a while or maybe never?

Real question- what would you use to clean that? Simple green or something along those lines?

I’d slosh the screen out with some gas.
The white milk is from condensation. Short runs without heating up the oil enough to evaporate the water
