Dropped a nice big doe tonight! Dropped in her tracks but found out it was a spine shot, so put one in her head from about 60 yards. That completes my deer season!
Rainy and nasty this morning. Nothing moving. They are hitting my corn pile hard though. I'll hit it again later today.

It's supposed to be rainy and blowing 10-15 but I'll still set my alarm and and at least get up and check. Too many times this season I listened to the weatherman, slept in and they were wrong. Looking to put a doe in the freezer since i don't have another buck tag until jan 1. My luck, I'll only see a buck
Nothing but cold toes yesterday afternoon while I was out with the flintlock. Oh except red squirrels!!! Me and the kids are going to have to get us a few this winter. Work has been rediculous as well as the weather. Haven’t had any chances to get out. My Dad managed a nice 8 around home. My cousin took a nice buck at our camp the day after we left of course…
Last buck tag of the year. Ive been hunting this dude for several weeks, he finally stepped out too early this evening… 2-3min’s later he would have lived as it was getting dark. The smokepole ripped, he put up a fight, took me a bit to find him. 2021 has been an amazing season for me!
