Cleaned the fryer today because I wanted to do a small mod to it so I had to drain it....I save my original peanut oil containers and put it back in them without filtering....cut a slot in it so the handle of the basket sits in it allowing the cover to shut tight
So this has at least 15-20 frys on the oil and I did get some grumblies out of the bottom but this was all that was suspended in the oil when I filtered it on the way back in
I think I understand what happened there. But it read like a mad lib in which you replace the word “it” with your favorite noun. So I had to read it 4 times to understand what happened there. Sounds like a good modification and some durable peanut oil.
