25/64. Wind started howling right at 5:00. I have to plow to get the garbage up to the road for pickup shortly. The lake finally iced over yesterday but now with this snow, it'll be slush central for the duration. (referring to snowmobiling conditions)
Looks like around 10-12 so far. It's coming down pretty hard right now! I don't know if the garbage collection will be on today or not. I'll finish plowing/shoveling later on. Temps will be dropping all day long now.
That's what I heard for us also, said will be down to almost single digits by this afternoon and -3 by tomorrow morning. About 9 right now for wind-chill
45 in my neck of the woods. 74 in and the fire has been a slow slow burn on oak. Thought about letting it go out today as it's predicted to hit 61.
The wind woke me up this morning...has calmed down some but still breezy. Temp is supposed to hold steady all day at 35. Haven't ventured out to the boiler yet but it's probably about ready for another load of soft maple.
I know the weather forecasters are usually not the brightest light in the chandelier but yesterday has to take the cake. Our temperature was supposed to be in the high 30's (never got there) with a low last night of 35. Here is what we got: Not bad. But not only was the low expected at 35 there was to be rising temperatures overnight up to 41. Then a high of 35 today with falling temperatures. Now I ask, if the low was to be 35 but rising, then how could the next day's high be 35? But perhaps I am uneducated...
Well, the lake opened up once again. The wind had everything to do with that! 15 now and dropping. The wind is still screaming, snow is slowing down a bit, garbage re-scheduled until tomorrow.
19* with a real feel of 9*. Burning Ash. 69* inside. We have had the heavy winds today, but no snow. I'm thankful for that.
