    Senator Bob Dole was a war hero, a political leader, and a statesman—with a career and demeanor harkening back to a day when members of the Greatest Generation abided by a certain code, putting country over party.

    Bob Dole was a great American, a World War II veteran who suffered from war time injuries the remainder of his life. This good man represented the finest of American values. Rest in Peace Bob Dole. :usa:

    ALL members of Congress should have to serve at least one tour in the military. If anything, it would help weed out those who are so blatantly anti-American.
