    This is where an ounce of prevention is worth a pound of cure!

    I too have been the victim of the trailer latch pin, fortunately no damages, and no one was looking, which made it a bit easier!!!

    BINGO! I use the same thing on my hitch, and on both sides of my trailer tailgate as well. Works like a charm.
