Went into local hardware store that changed ownership a while back, they now carry a bunch of Stihl. Wife mentioned getting me something she'd seen mentioned on Facebook, ended up being a stihl 2 in 1 sharpener. I run 20" .050 3/8 on my 310 and 460, but wasn't sure what the p is on the label on one ofnthe 3/8. Based on my chain box (below), I need the non-p, 5.2. I think they were around $44, is that decent?

We got a few coupons for the store the other day, one of which was $10 off $20, so I looked at chains. I haven't bought a Stihl chain in a LONG time. Looked at the rack, saw one that fot my saw for 20.99. I thought hmm that seems pretty good... Guy said the coupon would work for over $20. Asked a worker about the price of super vs micro, he checked and then asked a manager. Well, they had them marked wrong, like over $10 wrong. They honored the $20.99 price, and I got $10 off! I felt giddy on the way home!

We have a 25% off coupon for tomorrow only, (excludes Stihl, not sure if just powered products or all Stihl). At the least, I will be getting some of the bbq rubs and sauces they have. If the chains are still marked wrong, I plan on trying to make the most of their mistake again...

Good thing it wasn't me. I usually buy chains a dozen at a time. Nice deal!

I'm glad (and probably lucky) that I got one at that price!

Not as crazy of a deal as last night, but got 2 20 in stihl bars, 2 chains, a 2 in 1 sharpener and 2 6 packs of orange 1 gal mix..25% off total. I haven't compared stihl prices lately, but I think 25% off is good.

Oh, and got some rubs and bbq sauces too!

You should make your own loops.

The 3/8P is for 3/8 picco chain. You are correct, you are running 3/8 chain and don't need the picco.

I have both the 3/8 and 3/8 pico. I use the p version for my 192t chains and the regular 3/8 for my 029 chains
