I've been watching this storm damaged hickory for awhile now. 20211103_121232.jpg I decided today was the day it was coming down. Grabbed a few saws and hit the road. 20211130_141552.jpg Cleared some smaller stuff with the little 36. And got to work on the big hickory. 20211130_143741.jpg Tipped over so slow I had time to get back and snap a pic as it started moving. 20211130_144227.jpg Really starting to like this saw. I'll get to making firewood tomorrow and take some more pics.

Very nice!! You had full attention with 2095. That is a very nice looking red head you have sir. Only thing that would make these pics better, is if that 2095 was in the back of my truck hahahaha.

Very nice, my main saw is a 2071 Turbo, I bought a 372XP and I figured that would become my new main saw, but I think the 2071 has more power and cuts faster, so it's always my go-to.

20211117_131150.jpg I got the 2095 in a trade for a 111s project saw I had. I couldn't be happier and the new owner of the 111 has plans for a full restoration over the winter so I can't wait to see pictures of it when he's done.

Nice wood score! Hickory is , specially the shaggy version. Saw rocks too. Never again will you be underpowered.

Nice looking 2095. A really great saw. I was looking at the stump and nice job on falling that hickory.

2095 was a great saw I used one on a Jonsered chainsaw mill and it was my primary felling saw when I had my tree business I ran a 24" and a 36" bars on them when they stopped making them I replaced it with a 395 Husky JB

As a firewood guy I'll most likely never put enough hours on this saw to ware it out. A 395 was at the top of my list for big saws till this trade came along and I couldn't turn it down.

I don't normally take live trees but this one had 2/3 of the top blown out in a wind storm over the summer and was right beside a walking path with large branches hanging over head. So I made the call it had to come down.

I do alot of cutting up in national forest and we are allowed to only fall dead trees. I have cut a few live trees down for farmers and ranchers out here but that was their call for various reasons. I have a few jonsereds myself and so far the ones I have I really like. I am just a firewood cutter like you.

I got a little bit done today. 20211203_121045.jpg here's a pic of the damaged top. Pretty sure the loggers did this not the wind. They smashed up alot of trees getting what they wanted out. 20211203_105404.jpg Was a small saw day as covid got me less then 100% but I can't sit in the house forever or I'll go nuts. 20211203_105455.jpg kinda feel bad about turning this nice straight section into firewood. 20211203_121126.jpg

I never feel bad about cutting up the long straight clean ones. It makes up for all the crooked, twisting, knotted stuff I deal with. That’s a great looking firewood log you got right there.
