I need some input as to which is the better chimney liner for my oil furnace. The suppliers (Woodland Direct ) have Flex and Rigid liners.Which would you go for if you were lining a chimney ?Thanks.

Either one can be fine...its more a function of if you can get a rigid liner down or not...many people can't.
Are you planning on getting insulation for it?

I don't know what I need for it.I was simple going to put it straight down my brick chimney and attach it to the furnace pipe. What is the insulation part about ? Is it necessary ?
