Amen…I had 3 deployments that I was not home for any holidays. We didn’t have a table to sit at when we enjoyed out MRE’s, sat on the sand like every other meal. I sure am thankful that I will have a house full today for Thanksgiving. I go to Anchorage tomorrow for kid’s hockey Turkey shoot tournament and the wife and other kids go to Fairbanks for their hockey tournament. What a way to spend the holidays. Beats eating MRE’s in the sand box. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
