    Sort why i thought mulberry. Chnages from the yellow to a mellow red brown as is dries and weathers.

    Plenty of mulberry around here. It’s kind of invasive, grows in fence lines and groves, rarely see one over 12” diameter.

    Split looks like it could be Mulberry as brad said, Also looks like a cherry split. The bark is interesting though.
