Beautiful ! So from what I'm learning, your stove is a secondary air stove correct ? What make and model is it ?
At the moment it's up to 2 below. It's supposed to cool off quite a bit this weekend. Got the fence built over half way around the stove today. And did a bunch of other stuff. It's really cool getting these projects accomplished that I have been wanting to get done for so long !!
Well, it cooled off. Almost to 17 below at the moment at the house. An 8" round of Aspen , 20" long and a 3" dia round of black spruce nestled onto a good bed of coals. Truck is plugged into the EU 2200i Honda generator . Genny box is open 1/2" on the exuast end. Coffee is ready to be switched on . Dogs are walked. Time for me to hit the sack . Happy Thanksgiving everyone !
that's a little chilly. A sweltering 30 here compared to Rope temps. Some coals left over from last night, a few pieces of dry white oak and off we go. Happy Thanksgiving everyone.
45 here and 72 in. Supposed to hover around that all day today with rain. No reloading until tonight, still have red coals from last night's load of sycamore. As soon as I have my coffee I will get the bird stuffed, bagged and in the oven. Happy Thanksgiving everyone
37 here. White Pine splits keeping the chill away. Yes. Happy Thanksgiving to all you Firewood Hoarders!
Correct and yes those secondary air tubes make for an interesting show inside the firebox when they’re firing off My stove is a Lopi Evergreen, 2015 model.
29F this morning... got the house warmed back up with some silver maple 3 a.m.... Will be throwing some BTU's in before heading south bound for home. That North wind is kickin' pretty hard this morning...
20 out this morning but the wind is coming straight out of the north at about 20mph and it is bitter, only calling for 28 for the high today. Basswood and maple in the OWB. Happy Thanksgiving to everyone!
23 here with Maple and Oak in the Vermont Castings, only the 2nd fire in the woodstove this year. Been very busy, but have been burning pellets in my new house for a month. And a wonderful and Happy Thanksgiving to all of you out there.
45F & rain here. Supposed to get colder around dinner time. Last night's load of Ash still doing the work. Happy Thanksgiving!
23 here. Windy and snowing. This is one of those days where the high has already been reached. The temps will continue dropping throughout the day. 66 inside and the furnace is lit.
37 here. It rained all night. High of 45 for today then down to mid 20’s overnight. Oak going in the Endeavor. Happy Thanksgiving guys and gals. Mike in Okla
10f outside/71f inside. It is -5f up north of here in Warroad MN. A few minutes ago before adjusting the air down.
Currently 33 in south central PA. 73 in and have the stove burning as slow as possible. The oven on for hours and all the stovetop cooking should keep us warm enough. Should be 7 here today for the feast. Happy Thanksgiving to all the hoarders out there. I’m thankful for the camaraderie and friendships I’ve gained from this forum. For all the knowledge shared. For the criticism when it was needed.
Down to 19.4°f last night, sitting at 22.6°f at 8:30 Arizona time. Hope everyone has a wonderful Thanksgiving!!!
Warmed up to 14 below this morning when I got up. Think it's up to 10 under at the moment. Mostly Aspen in the stove . My wife is working today. So I m going to take a load of wood to a friend's place. We will be going to the community Thanksgiving feast this afternoon in Delta. Hope everyone has a great and safe time today.
