Dave, this one is in "preferences", might be a different setting than Dennis offered? How to Disable Dark Mode in Windows 10, macOS, Android, and iOS
Ugh! Shoulder season! Here in New England this year is crazy weather. It get's down into the thirties, the wife is complaining it's cold. So I get a fire going, the weather gets warmer, so now it's 80 in the house! (and she's not taking any clothes off!) So I let the stove go out. Then the whole stupid cycle starts all over again! I've had it, I put in a new furnace last year, so screw it, as much as I hate feeding the evil oil companies I'll just save my wood for when it does the most good. Without me having to go through all the BS! Rant over!
It ok Oldhippie rant away. I have a good furnace but I’m not using it got the IS on low and slow the women leave doors open anyway..
I have the same thing here. Our house can hold heat most of the way through the night, but around 5AM it kicks on....heat soaks the base board radiators, then the sun comes out and next thing you know its hot in here.
My bathtub from the late 50's drains slow. It's a metal basket like below with no screen/strainer. I have a feeling there is 60 years worth of hair and who knows what else. Any suggestions on clearing it? I stuck a screwdriver through the there and it seemed clear as far as it reached. A tutorial suggested blocking off the cleanout/overflow and plunging?
