Was a friend of mine as I live 40mins south of him.................... Key word WAS! We rode for hours to races together and stayed in same motels etc.
Here we both are racing after 9hr trip 1 way. Just to show I aint telling no BS stories. Just be careful.

Please keep the banter to a min.. I met Eric a couple weeks back and he seemed like a good guy to me. He built HittinSteel's 346 and that saw is a runner, as well as Birdgogtg's 550xp and 562xp. I was always told never to talk bad about a man, unless he can be there to stand up for himself.
Ive seen vids on EH saws they look wild also[/quote] My 7900 is a very good work saw, I believe Ed's more recent 7900's are even faster then mine.
He has been a good friend to me, and charged me less than what I should have paid on more than one occasion. One of the most reputable people in this business told me he was a good guy, and I am glad I listened to him.
I seen this 7900 crank first hand from a started up fresh woods port . Happened to a friends new 7900. Least a used crank got put back in it to make it right.
Nobody needs to persuade me one way or another. I work on my own saws for normal repair Woods port will go to 140 cottle lane
That's the BEST place to send them. Randy is doing # 24 for me this month- my nos 3120xp. Still debating on if Im gonna sell this 241cm or send it to him. Supposed to do the 665, 661cm, and a 150tce this fall. Would like to find a Clean 242/246 to go along with the others.
The 665??? Really? Will it finally come out of the box? Honestly Steven. That saw is VERY impressive stock. The videos and posts should have persuaded you. But on the other side of it? A NOS 665 in a few years may be worth something? It may not. But that 665 holds a special place in my heart. All the saws I have now (and the 261 coming from Randy). All have a permanent home. Unless something catastrophic happens? This is my collection. Only a 372 and a 661C-M stands to be added
