Got the old stove out. It was a piece of cake with the piano dollies. Thanks for the tip TurboDiesel

The drolet will live in a corner of the basement until I build a small barn. It will still be a great stove to chase the chill away in my future workshop.

I really probably could throw it in real quick this evening but I already have the help coming over tomorrow. Those paino dollies are the way to go. Besides I’m not sure who is more excited to see the thing go in me or Backwoods Savage

Just afraid one of those is too big for my space of 1350 sqft.

I think you'll be pleasantly surprised by the heat output, burn times and fuel savings!
I'll bet most days you'll only load it twice.

If you're sitting in front of it, yes.
I'm only heating (a drafty) 900 Sq ft on the main level with the stove in a 16x18 basement stove room.
(The stove room routinely get into the mid to upper 80's.)

Could go with the absolute steel or one of the smaller soapstone stoves though no?

Awesome new stove! I think the 2 trees @ the door will be fun to look @ but I'd probably tire of them when loading. Love the pallet wood painting. :D

Thanks Adam! I’m pretty stoked about it!

Thanks! We liked the more traditional look of the charcoal/black colors.

Man that would be great! I’ll definitely keep you all posted here how it goes this season.

You'll probably get more heat out of the break-in fires than the old unit in 5 hours.

More than likely the old stove sent a lot of smoke up the chimney.
