Good, I don't let my cats out. It is certain death. My son's dog already killed one of them when it slipped out unseen. We also have a lot of predators in the woods around here. I have 4 kitty boxes I have to keep up with.
Let me know how you make out with that one. Willow, nasty wood. worthless and stinks. Without equipment, no idea how you can take care of that without messing up the fence. Looks like a widow maker to me. Is that your dog on the lawn?
Titan go's where i go Save. Funny thing is they have a little white puff dog that puts the run on him everytime. The wood is staying in their backyard as i dont want it and they have a firepit plus will take the camera.
No problem...unless you try to get it taken care of all at once. Just start at the small end and cut small chunks off. Not woth taking a chance on your safety or damaging the fence. One thing I'm wondering though, is why won't the neighbor be responsible for what is obviously his tree?
I always enjoyed watching the fires burn the piles down. Then we would rake the unburned ends back into the center of the pile. Amazing how warm the fire keeps one side of you!
Im not far from leaving the road myself its been a rollercoaster of jobs due to lost accounts, layoffs and just terrible employers. You get treated like crap 75% of the time by businesses and spend an absorbent amount of time dealing with vengeful drivers who hate your big slow vehicle. I have zero interest in going back to ag exempt hauling as that will literally kill your body with 20 hour days. My days are numbered and I think sooner than later. I left the industry many years ago and stayed out for 11 years roughly but then went back due to circumstances beyond my control.... The Elogs are a BIG part of why I am about done your life is dictated by a computer....
Lots of jobs out there now, but most at entry level and health care at catastrophic levels before co pays kick in. Health insurance is so costly these days that being self employed is risky unless the spouse has insurance you can be on. I wouldn't want to be faced with it again.
It was listed on MLS at 4 pm yesterday. 5 showings booked by bedtime last night and 3 additional added for this afternoon! Too bad, she's not supposed to be there so she has her cat in a travel crate in the car with her. They've been out of the house for hours and it will be like 8 hours if the last showing is a 3:30. I really hope there is a bidding war for her
Decided to replace two really drafty unheated porch windows. Was undecided to match the windows in the house at $400 a pop or go with Pella PVC 32x46 windows from Lowes as they were in stock ( but 20 miles away). Got there and they only had two left on clearance at $156 plus tax instead of $208. The only other PVC windows I've done were replacement windows for my sister's house. It was a quick solution for two really drafty, rotting, falling apart windows. These are new construction and at first glance seem a bit weird, (plastic nailing fins) but will do. Got the insides ready to pop the window out but damm it was cold today. 40 degrees, LOL, spoiled with all the warm-ish weather lately. Didn't get much done outside, kept going back in to warm up after not being outside very long. Maybe make more progress on the outside part as it will be warmer around 55ºF. tomorrow.
I used some of those vinyl windows with the molded on nailing fins and had my doubts also. I really liked them. I changed every window and door in the cottage and bought them for the garage when I had that built. Very nice.
