I need to get my chainsaws up out of the way and off the floor of the shop. What do y'all do to store your saws out of the way? I was going to make a "shelf" that the bar inserts into and store them bar down, but I am open to other suggestions.

The shelving unit seems the most pragmatic, but I am pretty much out of floor space.

I will probably do something like pic 1, but I really like the log ideas!!

More great ideas. The hooks seem pretty easy.

Decided to give them a try in order to organize the saws a bit better in the shed. They work well enough for what I need.

I picked up a 48" piece of wall hanger from Lowe's, Gladiator brand from Whirlpool. Pricey if you want to do a whole wall of the stuff, but not a bad deal since I needed only one 48" piece and a couple of hangers. Used it in what had previously been wasted space in the corner of my garage. Chain saw, sharp and dull chains, weed whacker and broom now fit out of the way. Seems to work OK. I was worried about oil leakage, but despite what looks like a leak on that bar, I haven't seen any on the garage floor, and it's been hanging a couple of years now. Bottom piece was just to keep the chain from contact with the drywall.
