It's 2021! Why are we still getting robocalls about my car warranty?

    I guy I work with just sent somebody 70$ and his credit card info for a 4k$ tool box. We were at lunch I just about choked on my sammich. :rofl: :lol:

    Another fella,”auto tech” I used to work with bought one of those warranties from the foreigners. Bragged about what a good deal. Short time later needed a wheel bearing. Should have seen his face when I asked how much would be covered by “Rogers” guarantee. :rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol::rofl: :lol:

    I just read a news article about a grandparents scam. Fone rings, granddaughter needs bailed out after an accident. Lawyer fees, bank withdrawals. And now granny is 700,000 short in her bank account....
    People fall for these scams

    Yes, i figured if id just extended my warranty they'd quit calling.
    All i had to do was give them my credit card number to reactivate the warranty.

    See how simple these things can be?! Especially these little plastic cards. It is amazing how many things you can get and not hand over the money; just put it on the card! Shoot, I've even had people tell me they can go to a car dealership, sign a couple papers and drive a new car home. Never even had to give them a dollar. Isn't life great?!

    We get the calls for solar.
    Have to cut the tree down in front of the house.
    Uh, no....
    Seven the owner of the tree company that I have used said it was a great looking tree and adds to the value seen of the seen property.
    Plus, our age, we may not be in the house by the time it will pay for itself (we had someone come and price, we initiated) 12 years, we may not be here that long. I would like to get some return.
