My favorite as well, saw my first one at the visitor center at Cape Canaveral. Two flew over in formation and the one in trail suddenly rolled up into a knife edge and maintained that in formation all the way out of sight. I loved them ever since.
Probably the most unusual foam kayak I’ve received pictures of, the metal hoop is the landing gear for rolling it to the water and back. It’s a foam version of the catayak designed to be very stable for fishing in comfort I’m very happy with my new stove, it’s incredibly efficient and easy to load and light without fuss. it seems to use less wood, but we’ll have to see how it does through real cold weather. Thanksgiving dinner was a very different experience from last year. Last year we had a crowd, this year we were in quarantine due to a few is us testing positive for covid the week before. I did as well, in spite of having two different vaccines, the only difference was that I didn’t lose my taste or smell. One child didn’t get sick at all, go figure. Thanksgiving stroll after dinner
After the Navy I went into the RI Army National Guard. One of our summer 2 weeks training all of RI army national guard up at Fort Drum. They had A-10's running firing runs on the live fire range. That sound is so awesome.
Fitting a full load for the night is a little different with a top loader, but the efficiency is incredible and it is so easy to keep going. It’s interesting because it seems to char the stack of wood into charcoal, then the coals burn for a very long time with great heat output. Loving my new tempwood stove! Wow, it's almost a year since I updated this! Been an interesting year. My work contract ended the last day of February. I had three employers bidding for me, and ended up at Beverly airport. Still wrenching on airplanes, just on all different kinds. Some are little piston aircraft, some are corporate jets, we drive all over for the jets, from Boston to Teterboro and plenty of other places. I've also filled in on the airlines at Boston when needed. Pennsylvania sunrise from the Bible college I attended. My daughter attended there, so I went to classes with her in the morning before heading to a church conference in Montrose. Founder of the conference site in montrose and a great Christian author. oldest was home from college and missed the ocean. Also visited the aquarium and took the kids to a hibachi for the first time. another foam kayak someone created from my original design. Rebuilding my racks with plastic pallets for the base so there's nothing to rot

My official list now has 101 on it, and people keep sending me pictures. lots of mountain biking with my son this year. a visit to Alton Bay after a school function borrowed this from my employer and got a bunch of work done around the church, house. Etc. my boss offered my son a job, it's his first real job, and he thinks it's awesome working on airplanes. It's just one day a week while he finishes high school, he only needs math to meet the requirements to graduate. Took us three years to get our new building open! you'd be amazed at how many tools you can fit in a small travel case. After years of lugging my tools in a bag, I discovered THE WAY to get around easy with them. have tools will travel. I'm too cheap for a Pelican box. The apache case from harbor freight does the same job for half the cost.

family gtg over memorial day weekend, took them all to Rever Beach to enjoy the nice weather and get in a walk, scooter/rollerblading. The traffic landing at Logan was flying right over us, so it was a fun walk doing some planespotting. Left the kids with grandma to explore for shells and get wet, while we took our own little date and got a strawberry shortcake sundae to split for each couple. making a little more progress on the backlog Logan Airport control tower. Was there for security badging, and had to wait. Discovered that there are now bridges connecting all the terminals, in a nice 2+ mile loop. got to visit new England propeller, the biggest airplane prop shop on the east coast, on our way to Teterboro trying to find your jet in Teterboro is a challenge, even after you find the right FBO, and they tell you where to look. someone used my foam construction ideas to build a receiver hitch mounted garage for their bicycles. It will ride on the back of their camper, and protect from the elements and theft. Massachusetts gained a new driver this past spring my oldest us training for missionary nursing, and left for her first internship with missionaries on a Souix reservation in South Dakota. I was going to give her my truck because her old car probably wasn't up to it, but my mom let them take her prius instead. We swapped cars in New Jersey right at the PA, NY border off 84. She and her best friend did their internship together and had a great time. Even working at a will Graham rally their last weekend there, where hundreds of people came. I got my private/VFR in the early 90's. Went to Oshkosh 4 times, was looking to build one actually. My FIL built a mid wing Sonerai, 80hp VW engine! Was a real neat plane but a crazy stall characteristic, instant nose down when it stalled, NO warning. You had to know your air speeds! I got most of my time in 172's but stick time in the 177, 150, 152, Arrow, Dakota and a J3. I can't afford it any more, gave it up Out of currency and flight physical.
Visit to Gloucester outer shore with the kids some scenes captured during our annual church camp meeting in the Adirondacks. the last one is from the deck of the halfway hose at Whiteface ski area, took the youth group on a hike there. There's a hiking trail that runs through the woods right up the middle of the ski area, following a stream with many refreshing waterfalls. Immediately after this our oldest came home for a week following her mission trip. She has a guy friend and wanted him to see what our family is like. Drove to the Adirondacks again to stay at my sister's house while her family was away on vacation. As most of our Adirondack vacations go, it rained, so we drove to Niagara falls and got a hotel for the night. It was our kids first visit there. Mafe sure to stay up to catch the nightly illumination and fireworks Then ride the boats into the heart of horseshoe falls
The state pier in Gloucester is named after my Uncle. I have about 40+ cousins there. My family were fishermen and long shoremen. I have lots of family in that area.
