It's 2021! Why are we still getting robocalls about my car warranty?

    This is so redonculus!

The technology is out there. The phone companies have been ordered to stop the robo calls, and we're still getting calls...

It sure seems like we should be able to stop these annoying calls!
What really sux is, i have a company fone, so im sorta expected to answer it during work hours. Many of the calls i get for work are delivery drivers so i dont have their numbers stored in contacts.

I get it too on my work phone but not too frequently. I proceed by telling them I have a 1995 Acura Integra (which I do), and that's the only car I have... they usually hang up on me. So I try and waist their time too.

If I don’t know the number I don’t answer it anymore. They have gotten really good at having a call say it is somewhere local to you. If I’m not really busy I’ll answer just to mess with them. Usually I ask what they can do for my 1 year old vehicle with 6000 miles in it. They hang up.

We can't do that with a work phone. Have ta answer it. I'm the same way with my personal phone. Probably have hundreds of #'s blocked.

Got one of them too. I usually know who’s calling and they will be either in my contacts or from another extension of the main numbers.

I got a call from an actual human yesterday. "Jeremy" from Bangalore told me I won 2.5M and a new car. I told him I already have a car and plenty of money so he should give it to someone else. He wasn't quite sure how to handle that one.

I have the same problem. Need to answer the phone for my work and get crap calls everyday. Even put the the phones on the do not call list and that did no good.. I understand some of you guys dont answer if you dont no the number but that will not work for some.

They just switch numbers all the time the same way spam does on the Internet. Lately I've not had any of those stupid calls but have been getting more junk mail.

The latest I keep getting is email about my recent purchase telling me where a package is being sent. But they need some important info evidently so include an 800 number and even include an invoice number.

I have an iPhone and it blocks all unknown calls and sometimes it blocks calls I want, but they can leave a voicemail. I don’t know how or why it works but it does a great job!

Actually on my way to the house with mail, most of it just gets dropped into recycling. It is also amazing how much mail Judy gets.

Oh gosh. My buddy's know-it-all step-mom won the lottery in spain. All she had to do was pay the lawyer fees. Once she paid that, there was another fee, then was told she had to pay the taxes up front. His dad took out a bank loan for 10k...

:picard:he ended up selling off his antique tractors to pay the loan back.:(

This same guy that fell for the lottery loads up prepaid junk mail envelopes with big flat washers and puts them in the mail box so the sender gets billed. Lol
