It's less like work when you don't actually need it, eh?

Good work Dave. If you get a good amount added to that next year you may have to sell some o_O when it is properly seasoned and take that cash and buy yourself some type of new "work" toy! Can you sell well seasoned wood where you are for a good amount? Is there a demand for seasoned firewood by peoples up that your way?

Good job Dave and you are right in that it really does give a man a great feeling having that much wood ahead. Even after all these years, I still have to stop sometimes and just admire some of our wood piles.

There is a fantastic feeling you get when you know that all that work is done. No concern that you may get behind. No voice in your head screaming "more wood!". Reminds me I really need to get stacking...

    ? ? ?
Well, I was trying to figure out "if I got more".
& it won't fit under cover in the shed next year,
"what do I need to do to keep it dry".

I might need a bigger shed. LOL

The State cutting area is for "Personal use fire wood only", so I can't sell it.
I have near 4 cord of it is from scrounging mixed in the shed.
Have near 1-1/2 still in standing trees that a neighbors wants cut.

Have thought about selling some, though it would be hard to sell the dry stuff from the wood shed.
Maybe I need a few more cords of scrounged wood that I can season then sell,
    separated from my personal stuff.

    Maybe nest year. :)

It's one thing to ponder the sale of a 4x4x8 stack of wood, and a completely different thing when that stack is on your property, aged, dried and ready to keep your house warm.

The 359 is still kinda new to me, so not a new saw
A new atv with power steering would mean I'd have to sell all my wood.

Think I'll hold off on new tool &
dream about a long vacation in Hawaii ,
    Dec thru Feb :)

Woke up due to high winds, 60 mph gusts.
It's raining too. 1st test on the stack to see if it can handle some wind.
