Never seen such a big sawbuck, but for what you are using it for, it fills the bill. Also love all the other toys you have. Esp. the pickup. Glad you have the tractor and forks to move things around.

[IMG]Got to wonder if mother nature did this on her own or had a helping hand. My daughter in=law came upon this while out on one of her hikes.

Losing the color here fast. Past prime now. Many trees without leaves now. Two nights of frost has brought a lot of them down. When the frost melts, the leaves fall fast.

Yeah. I wanted something that could take a bit of abuse if the tractor driver was a little off in his loading operation.

It is working really well. I wanted the rounds to fall over as I went in order to keep from pinching the bar at the bottom of the cut.
Then I can just grab them and place them on the splitter. The huge stuff is still getting done in vertical mode on the ground.

I'm sure I've figured out this hunting business. Yesterday afternoon I sat for hours and did not see a single deer. However, mother nature sometimes works in strange ways. I finally had to get up to relieve myself and sure enough, while standing outside of the blind, deer came within 20 yards. Seems to happen a lot, so if you do hunt, be sure to drink plenty of beverages.

Another frosty morning here. Went out to fire up the boiler this AM and the fan was seized...uh oh. Gave it a little help and it took right off. Had this happen one other time....there's one spot where creosote can accumulate and stick the impeller to the housing. No big deal.

Got a party to go to this evening then hunting tomorrow morning and evening. Shooting foam in the yard is getting boring....ready to see some deer.

I thought those only made creosote in the firebox? Should be only flyash after the nozzle, no?
Is yours new enough to have the upgraded fan motor in it?

If you burn wet wood on short cycles like I am now, it will get some condensation mixed with other stuff drip down on the fan housing. It isn't black creosote...not sure what it is. If I wasn't burning trash wood to get rid of it for 1 hour at a time this would be a non-issue.

That was long ago! I bought one new in 1992. Traded in a Vmax for it. A harley heritage springer after the ninja. No bikes around here anymore I’m afraid.
