I have been there close to 5 years, I started as part time and am now an asst. manager in plumbing, alot has to do with upper management, ours is great. The pay starts out on the lower side, but there are lots of incentives for sales. Everyone gets a bonus check yearly based on the amount of money you made that year, and that percentage goes up yearly.

The date on the photo above; which was took around when I got it, was March 2019. I can't remember the price of a new one at the time but yes they have gone up. I put one of those cheap digital hour meters on so I could keep up with how much use. There is some paint missing now on the beam. Over all, I am very pleased with the splitter. I have one problem that can be easily fixed. One of the hoses is a bit short and when in vertical mode it is almost crimped; therefore, I don't stand the beam vertical.

I haven't seen any notices yet if TSC is going to offer a discount on the CountyLine splitters this Black Friday. Lots of places have been doing pre Black Friday.

The big splitter is nice and I have ran a fair amount of wood through it; although I have to keep alert. I try to split so that I don't take my hand off; came close to smashing my thumb one day which would have meant being a thumb short. If you have a helper, you can really process some wood but most time I work alone so have to load as well as split. My sister came and helped me one day on splitting and she had rounds waiting on me to finish. The little electric 5 ton is great for splitting kindling; I could even bring it in the house if needed (I think a member on here has an electric in the house for splitting kindling.

Hmm...didn't know that...I don't begrudge anyone for being rich because he built a better mouse trap so to speak...but if you start stepping on the people that got/keep you that way, well then ...and even worse is when they get such a big head they become maniacal egomaniacs, like Besos...seems to think he should be in charge of the world or something... :zip:

I don’t know anything about the owner or corporate culture at Menard’s but while I was still active in O Gauge model railroading, Menard’s had some really good deals, especially on buildings, some really nice offerings at very reasonable prices. Some of the members of those hobby forums used to post pics and reviews, left me wishing that we had a Menard’s near us

    Is 100 miles a Long ways ??
Fairbanks is 112 miles from our place and that's just a 2 hour run if the highway isn't too bad. Actually, we live closer than I would like. Delta Jct. Doesn't have lots of stuff I wish it did. But it's not bad . 2 pretty good hardware / lumber stores. 2 banks . 2 dentists . 2 doctors. 1 grocery store. But those that can go to the commissary on base. 2 gas stations. 1 gun shop with a surprisingly good selection of guns.
No saw shops tho. Gotta go to the city for that.

Bill Gates is the worst. Right under Soros and beside Fauci.

I found a couple smaller items on rays list and asked about them at the store. Nobody knew anything or how to find them. (surprise)

No matter, they weren't high on the priority list.

It’s a long way when I have Walmart, Atwood’s, TSC, Lowe’s and several lumber yards about 12 -20 miles down the road.

    Question:

Just why is West Virginia referred to (by only you) as the kangaroo state?

Do you jump around a lot? May be a sign of depression if you're up and then down.....

Do you have a lifestyle that keeps you on your toes or on the move? Maybe that could be altered too........

Any big box stores are 100 miles away from where I live too (with the exception of wally world). We had a KMart but it closed, too bad, I liked that store.
