The aftermarket stuff is a crapshoot. The quality control is so inconsistent. One guy may have great luck with his, but the next guy has nothing but problems. But even on a good one, you’re probably looking at only 100 hours before they start needing several parts replaced. So if you only used it 5 hours per year, it would probably last 20 years LOL

I believe that’s why most guys say “I’ve had mine forever and it runs great”. Or “just as good as OEM”. They don’t put enough time on them to wear them out

Stihls been in China for 16 years now
stihl in china - Google Search
I've used dozens of oem china Stihl carbs over the year's
Husqvarna has a factory there also
I've seen china oem Husqvarna cylinder kits.
    I really would never buy a 660
Stihl or any Stihl or stihl clone.
    But holzforma/farmertec and other's
Make clones of out of production saws.
    I'm a Husqvarna man especially 2 series
    But have run 371/372s for 20+ year's.
    I did buy 6 Husqvarna 365/372
clones from different sources and I built 1 farmertec 372.
Nothing major involved just a few 268 and 272 popup pistons and dual port muffler's.
    I've run them about 4 year's now
And I've run them a lot.
I loaned a couple out to friends and family members
    Too many saws setting around.
    They love them.
    Would I recommend them
    No
No major parts failure's or anything
But I had issues with the poor quality
    Fuel and pulse lines cracking
And I replaced all with oem echo line.
And I had a couple of the brake flags
That were too light and tripped to easily.
One case gasket leaked so I fixed it
2 coils went bad 10.00 per no biggy
    1 stop switch broke.
Most want no issue's and that's just not the case with clones.
They will not last like an oem saw will
    But they are cheap fun.
And you honestly never know what your going to get.
So I never recommend them or am parts
    Anymore to inconsistent.
But I work on saws no big deal to me.

I've finally about wore the first one I built out
I'll slap another crank in it if I
    Get bored.
Or give it to a nephew to learn on
    Too many saws to run.

Yep, had one. Was a beast. Would still have it, but a buddy wanted it so I sold it to him. Plus I have my Huskys and love them. I would buy another one.
