Made some chocolate chip banana bread for my bride for an after work treat today and finished off the lighting project in the basement this morning.

Off to church soon. Have a great day everyone.

Good morning. In the 40s again.
Molly had 34* one day last week with fog and Chaz had to scrape the truck windows.
Not sure what is on deck for today.
    Have a great day all.

Morning All. Wind storm has arrived and is supposed to last all day. Good day to be inside.
So many projects I would like to tackle today but the main one is to get down into the sewing room. I am having sewing withdrawals as it has been over a month since I did any sewing. I have a project I am trying to finish before Dec. Of course, I have dreamed up another couple to do BUT I do have a couple of UFOs (unfinished ones) to do as well. There are plenty of UFO projects sitting down there.

    Everyone have a great day.

Sounds like our weather here. Damp and overcast all day. Great day for a small fire.

Great day to get some cards written and cooking done around here.

Back from church. Always feel recharged afterwards.

Good afternoon. Had to go to Home depot and Lowes for plywood because there low on what I needed.. Its in the shop for the morning. Got a bit house work done and having 2 small pot pies for lunch. The hospice left me Barbara,s the twin mattress . Its clean. I have a pine bed frame Im going to set up in the living room where she was. The reason is there is no way I want to sleep in the bedroom right now and I closed the door to save on heat also. Dont no how I will do on the bed Im setting up but the couch is not to good to sleep on. :) I may take it easy this afternoon and rest up for work. Hope you all are having a good day.

    Thanks. She is a sweetheart.

I agree with Anvil, there are plenty of kitties out there looking for a home.

All of ours are strays we took in.

I think after a while I will. Always had a cat. They can be good company and less to maintain. I like dogs also but cats are easy to keep for me right now..

Denis and Mark, read of your happenings over these last two weeks. My heart goes out to both of ya.

One thing that might be worth while, perhaps at some point, well, this is what I've done, particularly when the feelings of loss go too deep, or too long.

●Let yourself settle and quiet. (If that requires tears or yelling, do so). Then settle.
●Ask Him to take the grief and pain you are feeling. (then sit with that for a few moments.
●Forgive God for taking your loved one. Just speaking that to Him, is a good confession.
●Ask Him to forgive you for holding grief, anger, bitterness, grief, pain, regret (or whatever) for so long. (And settle with that for a few)
●Let your self sit and soak in His love. Asking Him to let you feel it might be useful.
●Be patient with yourself and your God. Sit for a while. He says 'I will not leave you, even unto the end'.

☆Our adversary wants us emotionally crippled and helpless.
☆Being depressed/soul-sick, burdened, et.al. is NOT the Almighty's will for us.
☆After all, He came to set the captives free.
●At the end of this little prayer time, the memories will still be there....but the pain should be lessened if not gone. Looking at items or experiencing memories should bring joy and warmth.

Love yall (and so does He)
    Sca

    Good morning, everyone.

Rainy and raw to start. Just lit off the wood stove.

I'll be taking dad to UMass Medical in Worcester this morning. He's had an ear ache/infection that's been treated with heavy antibiotics. He says the pain has subsided. Hopefully the Dr doesn't see any issues.

Dad has multiple apps this week.

    Stay safe
    Stay healthy
