There were several other incidents on the interstate over that same time period. So stupid, so preventable. I don't remember the last time I drove the interstate that everyone maintained the posted speed. Easily 5-15 mph or more over the posted speeds. Even in work zones they still speed.
Had a short day at home, due to meeting some guys and attending the Indiana/ Ohio State game. I was happy to find the replacement throttle lever assembly was in the mailbox. The engine is running again, but need to have the new hydraulic hose made., then back in business. Also replaced a broken hitch coupler on the Bannon trailer. the OWB is loaded for the first fire of the year. Likely tomorrow, as the coming week appears to be cold, or cool. Tomorrow is rain all day. I smelled woodsmoke while outside, telling me that my neighbor has his going. headed to the game, to sit in the rain long enough to watch a drubbing. Now home in dry clothes setting in to watch my recorded Alabama game.
Just waking up in the camper. 38* out but have heat in the glamper. Slow moving today because I have to close the camper up for the season. Not something I want to do. Also hearing gunshots in the distance. A bit early for that. Around here its archery season for deer. Gun season isn't till after Thanksgiving. Maybe small game not sure.
Finally remembered to post a finished pic of that last project. Lots more natural light getting through now.
For those who like to storm watch, here is a link to a webcam on the west coast of Vancouver Island. We have a storm brewing out in the Pacific and it is starting to make landfall on the coast. Ucluelet live web cam, lighthouse and harbour, Vancouver Island BC, Canada
Thank you gentleman ( & yooperdave ), after clicking around some more I found they had yellow cans at the same sale price. Yellow's will be diesel, red = gas
I was going to post that, but figured that you were just re-purposing a red can. My bad. The yellow (diesel) jugs and the same as the red (gasoline) ones here also. P.S. If you buy two of them, we can make comments about your boots!
Hmmm, the Sta-bil does not say diesel. Does diesel need stablizer for storage and does it need a separate kind?
