Got some more racks built the other day. About 3 cords worth. 20211011_124056.jpg Got some maple already filling them up. 20211013_165653.jpg And now for the rest of my stash. 20211013_170422.jpg 20211013_170422.jpg This in my emergency/snowed in/ATV down stash. Easy 25 foot wheelbarrow trip to the wood hatch. 20211013_171928.jpg 20211013_172015.jpg 20211013_172019.jpg I now have about 19 cords worth of storage racks on my property. Only 4 are empty. Knocking on the door of the 3 year plan. Goal is 5 years.

Very impressive pricey! Nice that the racks are uniform in size and neatly stacked. I could stare at those all day! A goal of mine is to have racks ready for splits but i seem to hoard faster than that! :emb:

    Nice racks and supply.

How much you go through per year?

If I had 15 cord of wood on hand, I'd already be 4 yrs ahead.
    :dex:

Our small house, we can get by on 3 to 3.5 cord per yr.

Same here. I go through about 2-3 cord per year. I have 9 cord split and stacked. 3 in the shed and another 6 cord of logs that have been stacked for 3 years waiting to get bucked and split.

For the past 5 years I have been in that position. What I have that needs to be split will definitely fill in all the empty ones, and then some. I might add one more cord worth to the right of those new ones. Hell, maybe 2, now to think of it because that is one of the sunniest spots on my property.

Going into my 5th season of burning I am at about 5 cords a year, depends on type of wood. My house is 1900 sq feet, ranch, stove in the basement.

Do it! :stacker:Sun is good. Id stack the oak there. A very low percentage of my stacks get lots of sun.

Looking great, nice work! I've slowed up hoarding over the warmer months but looking to pick it up (time permitting) once the weather breaks which should be this weekend!
