All of that stuff goes to needy families either free of charge or, if the recipient insists, a small donation. walt is a top-notch fella!

One of the reasons I love helping process all of it!!

walt are those two splitters yours? I think I recall that they were. I'm VERY interested to learn more about them and how you converted h/v splitters into waist height work stations with log lifts.

The blue splitter ( Wallenstein ) is mine ,I have owned it for twenty years or more. About four years ago I got the idea to put it up on a trailer with a platform at a comfortable working height. Usually when I get an idea to do something I go to YouTube to learn how because someone has all ready done it. I couldn't find anything on YouTube where someone set up splitter this way , just some that had built vertical splitters from scratch. I don't weld so I built most of it from wood , I used rough sawn sassafras for most of it. I even built the log lift out of wood so everything lined up right then took it to the welding shop and they made it in steel. My friends that have used it like it so I helped them build the other two ,then I asked if I could borrow them this weekend. I even cut the axles off of mine for I don't have any reason to ever put it back on the ground . I like standing up to split with the splitter vertical , it folds down for transport and storage
