Not really morning anymore but we are busy in the morning. We are on the road again. I posted some more pictures. We didn't get far but it was a long day. Reports of snow where we want to end up so our next move is still up in the air. Probably still head north as the weather is supposed to get better.

Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a WONDERFUL WEDNESDAY. Back on the night shift......only 3 days this week of it. Found a oak leaning over our woods road, couldn't get the tractor past it, might go bring it to the woodyard. Have to see what the weather is gonna do.

Good morning everyone! Looking forward to summerish temps today. Not ready for daily fires yet!
I added myself to my husband's Y membership yesterday, so today I'll go swimming. I'll have to try and find the least-busy times. It's a really nice pool. I don't plan on making much firewood this winter, so this will keep me from reverting to blob form.
Just want to burn up the wood that I have, so I have room for more! I read
that November will bring an early shot of cold and snow. So much for raking leaves, always fun with a crust of ice on them.

I've been meaning to share a pic of the house going up behind us. Now picture one just like it right next to it. Our next door neighbors are not happy, and neither are we.
The zoning board allowed a one story house, but the developer trucked in dirt and raised the grade.
Our neighbors complained to the zoning board, we'll see what happens.

 

Good morning! Another gray morning with slight chances of rain throughout the day. Sure seems like spring! Taking my farm and firewood truck to the shop and borrowing my father-in-law's Ram dually. Need to check my "pallet store" as they usually set out on Wednesdays. Taking off a little early to pick up wood from a MP ad. May get a little mowing done, which I didn't get to yesterday. Have a God day!

 

Good afternoon all. Chaz has been doing ot this week so no moving of wood. I had to have the truck yesterday so after I picked him up we stopped at the local bar for a couple of drinks. One of the guys there will doing pulled pork and home made Mac and cheese later this month and we were invited to join. Chaz is going to get him some hickory to smoke it with. Should be a good time.
