    Umm yeah. At first I thought that was a catalytic converter, then I looked a little more. Someone was going pretty fast.

    I'd like to see that up close as it sure looks like a brittle fracture to me. Aggravated by the crappy rosette weld.

    That axle damage must have trashed the leaf spring also, at least the top few ply's.

    Yup replaced both springs and the shocks as well.

    That's one short bollard to miss everything and hit the carrier or tube ! If the bumper, frame etc. hit the bollard that break shouldn't have occurred.
