Wayward moose likely looking for love as rutting season set to begin There was one hit about 30 miles from here a year or two ago. Too bad. They sure do get around this time of year. A few years before that one, another was busy jumping farmers fences about 5 miles from our place to see who was out and about.
Definitely a possibility. I know elk are rutting too, but elk and big horn sheep were the two ungulates we didn't see on the trip.
Few year back one got onto road to Walmart.. 6 foot antlers can slow traffic.. sadly the ticks are thinning the herd..
Oh no you didn't!!! Well, I guess 99 lbs real secret is out, huh? I've always said that she would never get hurt if she fell down....she'd just keep rolling....
Started hauling firewood into the basement yesterday. Should have only a couple more trips and then that'll be all I can fit in the wood room. So farm I have almost 8' wide by 8' long by 8' wide in there; curious just how long that'll last. I really got spoiled by having the OWB all those years. Much better having the mess outside.
Yeah, I'm thinking there will be some added over the winter months once it gets low. But I'm also burning the NC-30 in addition to the wood furnace.
Neither one of those is good. Inoperable aneurysm is very concerning. Do you know where it is or why it is inoperable? Spitting up blood should be with some other symptoms. Hope things work out well for you.
