    They don't have much for winter in most places.

    I was in northern Australia in their winter it was 68* coldest day on record in 1996. They were buying all my long sleeve shirts and sweatshirts. I went for a swim in pool as it was 74* they thought I was :loco: :crazy:

    If you can grow them in your area, Sawtooth Oaks have bumper crops of huge acorns every year. They are also considered an invasive in some areas.
    I was working near a parking lot today that’s surrounded by sawtooths. It sounded like golf balls were dropping on the cars.

    Interesting how they produce mast every year. I had to look that tree up; I’ve never heard of them. They look like the missing familial link between chestnuts and oaks! Nice looking tree.
