I need a new burner element for my whirlpool stove but the local appliance parts store ordered the wrong part and has had poor customer service.

I saw there are a million online parts websites but a lot of them look shady.

Anyone have any experience ordering appliance parts online with a reputable company?

I can’t recommend a good one but I have had bad experiences with cheap fleabay stuff. One in particular instance was bearings for a washer tub. You have to completely disassemble the machine and use special tools to push them in and out. Not fun doing it less again less than a year later.

I bought an oven element from here years ago and it was pleasant experience. They had (have) help articles to narrow it down to the correct part # that I appreciated.

Our lower element went out on our stove a couple days ago too. I drove to Butte to look, but sears told me to try searsdirect.com. I'll check out wildwest's website too.

Yup I suggest repairclinic.com as well. Just replaced the hot and cold water inlet solenoid valves on our 15 yr old Bosch Nexxt front loader washer last week and got the parts from repairclinic. Great prices and fast shipping.

I also use appliance parts pros. Only difference is I use them to find the mfg part #, then search Amazon for that part. Usually I can find the part for a lot less. That’s also how the local appliance repair guy gets his parts.
