Well the rains here in PNW are slated to become more frequent with some breaks here and there. We had been so dry that it's been rain breaks rather than rain with sun breaks. Hasn't given the ground a proper soaking which it needs badly but then this gives way to landslides as the ground dries out too much and loses its integrity if it gets too wet too fast. I'm just glad it's starting now. The dirt is more than I thought having mopped the floor yesterday night. Whew. Dogs love that we put the fence in the back though as do we. I'm working on picking my battles so we can get some grass growing before it gets too muddy.

The image was a cake similar to this one, except it had a big "40" on top of the cake. I baked another one right away....

Was able to get several hours of tractoring in today. :) Always makes for a good day.

Used the 300B to move some more clay and dig out some saplings that had grown out of hand next to the main road we live on. They were starting to get too close to the road and would eventually inhibit view. Not going to happen. Three large groups of them now gone. Saplings growing from old Ash stumps from trees I had taken down many years ago.

Then used the L3540 and grapple to clean up said mess from above. And my processing area got raked by grapple and all bark and sticks picked up and dumped on fire pit back at camp.

Then it was off to watch our girls soccer game. Mom not feeling well so I went alone. They won 3-1. I tired!:sleeping:See ya

    Good luck pal.

Ask your Dr. first but I have had real good luck with an inversion table. First time in my life I was able to open up my lower back. This is after PT, chiropractors, massage, lots of stuff. Amazing.

Those things can be great but for someone who has had surgery on various body parts they could cause some very serious problems. Think of backs, necks and any joints that would be stressed. For example, I've had multiple surgeries but even just thinking about my 3 hip replacements should put a stop to the inversion table. I do wish I could use one but not willing to take that risk.

Wow, most people stop after replacing their second hip and just leave the third alone.

This COVID exhaustion is getting old. I went to the dump, then changed the oil in my truck, and now I need a rest. Can’t wait to be back to normal.

It is time for my wife and I to sit on the porch and relax with a cold beer, or four. Then burn the bonfire after we eat some dinner. You hoarders have a relaxing evening.

Got the splitter running today and that was real nice. I am out of space in my wood shed so maybe next spring I will add on bigger.

Unless you live it nobody has any idea what it is. They have an expiration date when installed. If you treat them right they get to that date. If you live like normal they wear. They also dislocate with simple movements. Do not point toes in and squat is my understanding. I’m waiting for the day it comes, I was given 3-5 years 6 years ago and I feel it. Trying to stay OEM parts as long as possible.

Sorry no, she is quite unable and has not been able to do a squat for 30 years. In her case anyway it has nothing to do with use or misuse.

We got the basement finished today (for now) and put back together.

Apologies in case I have reposted any pics.

First pic in of the brand spanking new water treatment system and pressure tank. No more wondering if the old buried pressure tank (removed) is going to lose it's air charge and become saturated during the dead of winter! I will wire in an outlet closer to the system for the plug in soon.

Nest pics show the completion of the last wall with the white cedar. I'm going to leave the beam just the way it is, instead of staining it. I also intend to add a couple 4-square outlets along that wall, but thats in the not so distant future too.

The final day of flooring install (yesterday) was 12 boxes. I have five unopened boxes to return along with the underlayment. :makeitrain"

This is a shot of the room back in order and tentative placement of the NC 30. I'm thinking of painting the masonry chimney stove black. I guess that means more pics!

Last week Thu we got hooked up to satellite TV. Only one upstairs and one downstairs. Just right....no hook up in bedroom! By the time the snow flies, I'll have the sound bar connected to the downstairs TV (in case the wall/door doesn't drown out enough of the furnace noise).

Not too bad for a "Dave Cave" huh? I think I'll make a sign and hang it on the wall going down the basement steps that reads.........................

    "Leave your cares upstairs!"

    Or maybe this one........
