The tank is out and the line is repaired (spliced) where the tank was. It was within the 1st five feet from the well.

Pressure tank being installed as we speak.

I wonder if I'm going to be charged extra for supervising everything???

 

My knees 9with knee pads for both of us) neck and back were terrible. I could hardly move and sleeping, or trying to sleep, didn't work at all.

Better at the moment, but I still have more to do.

99 lbs has been a huge help, she's getting pretty good at this!

Something is wrong with grandfather's car again (not sure what). He's put thousands of dollars into it already. He's selling the car as a parts unit and effectively giving up driving. 2010 Aveo with roughly 40K miles. Frame is getting tender.

 

Not going out in this weather any longer than I have to. Feels like middle of July, not middle of September.

 

In housing developments that’s 1,000 upgrade

 

6 hours on site for one guy 3 1/2 hours for the 2nd guy. He had to re-wire a well pump that a contractor had cut the lines inadvertently today.

But, all the outside work is complete and hole filled in after pressure test and checking for leaks on splice.

Tomorrow will be hooking up the water treatment system and re plumbing the pressure tank as it is only hooked up temporary for overnight water usage.

I think this bill is going to hurt..........

Here's some pics from today's "well pressure tank" project.





The buried pressure tank was found exactly where the worker had suspected it to be found. Nice. Dug it all up, removed it, spliced in a line from the pitless adapter on the well casing to where the shut off used to be (the shut off was removed also since there is no need for it).

Right after that, the new pressure tank was set in place in the basement (temporary) and then water turned back on and checked for leaks. Then, bury the lines and come back tomorrow to finish the treatment system so this yooper can take some more pics.

Includes a new water pump just to be on the safe side.
