    Almost for the first wave and basically a non event although suddenly there is a little thunder close by. Hardly any rain. Radar lied almost all the way.

    Well, it is evening now and I am beat. Went back to work for a day and it was fun but exhausting. Love the looks on the faces of those who were there when I retired when they walk into the office. We have lots of retired teachers working as substitutes so I don't know why it was such a surprise to them.

    Good morning everyone! It will be a summery day in the low 80's. I might get in the pool today. I really should close it up. Rain tomorrow.
    My goal today will be to trim a hedge. Most of them are done, but there are a few stragglers.
    Woodwidow, sounds like you had fun at school for a day! It's good to have a reminder of why we made a choice.
    I've been trying to imagine a compost bin for shredded leaves and rabbit manure, to use as potting mix next year. It came to me last night- use all my spare wire dog crates! I did a search, and other people have done the same. c6396520378eece6144e6804763baf78--binder-clips-dog-crates.jpg

    Morning all. Woke up to 59 and heavy clouds. The "predicated" major storm fizzled out for us like it did for BS. Rained a very little bit, not enough to wet the ground under the trees. South and east of us got the brunt of it. Started moving the firewood into position for the upcoming season which can't come quick enough. Everyone have a good and safe day.
