Good morning y'all. Hope y'all have a TERRIFIC TUESDAY. 2nd full day of vacation. We did a 2 hr tour on a little CraigCat boat. Those things are fun, get up to about 30 MPH. While we were waiting to go on the tour we found a sno-cone shop. Haven't had 1 in years. Miz Carol's peach cone... 15327.jpeg
Molly, your grandson would love this shop, the owner is a Lego guru...had several cases with pieces he made, even had some that was animated.

After we got back, found a local wood fired pizza place...had a great salad, garlic knots and pizza... 15323.jpeg 15325.jpeg
Going for a walk on the beach now.

Vacation is over. Packing up the car this morning getting ready to head west. Had a good time out east. Experienced the remnants of two hurricanes, got some sun on the beach, founds lots of shells for the wife, spent quality time with my wife's friends we came out here to see. Good time was had by all. When we get home I will have a lawn not mown in over 3 weeks waiting for me. Lots of fun to look forward to.

Some heavy rain forecast for us later today. Forecast does not sound good.

48 this morning. Usually this time of year we start getting highs in 60's several days then gradually more and more of them. There are none even in longer forecast. Warm September I guess.

I would recommend investing in goats to take care of the lawn. If yours grows as fast as mine, mowers won't be of much use. Good luck!

Good morning! Today is my Monday and it's payroll day. Beautiful day, getting warmer with a chance of showers tonight. Going to a visitation for a co-workers father tonight. Then I have to fill up the loose stacks at the roadside firewood stand. Have a God day!

That looks like a blast, T.Jeff! That's the thing with Lego, once you get it built, you hate to take it apart...

Good morning everybody. 66* and sunny. Started out at 49*. Not ready for the cool temps. The gas company is coming to work and grade areas on the pipeline tomorrow. The have to repair a burm on the back property line of the neighbors yard. Thry also need to did out a drainage trench. I am going to see how far up they can grade to get the ruts out.
We also have an eye glass appt tomorrow. So looking forward to that. I need new glasses bad.

    Have a good day all.

It's been really breezy here. Rain is supposed to be starting within a few hours. Stay dry Backwoods Savage!

We had one very brief gust of wind so far but calm now. According to radar it is raining but nothing yet.

It is weird that half an hour ago it was thundering like crazy west of us. I went out to put things away, shut barn doors and get mail. By the time I was done it stopped thundering.

It is getting awfully dark now so I suspect we'll get something soon.
