Paying job from a threepeat customer. He had a sugar maple taken down (too dangerous job for me) and needed me to do some bucking and splitting. It was hot and humid when i sold the job and most of the work was in the shade but it has since cooled off. Three small standing dead maples i had to fell too. His little Dodge with some splits from my prior work. His splitter was downhill in back where the bulk of the wood was. Used my PU to move some. The other wood i turned into splits. The end result. 201 & 261 shared the work load. I normally like making firewood with no strings attached, but in this case i made an exception! Over a cord total. He's having more tree work done so ill be back!
Yes. I started by felling the SD maples and hitting the nest made for an interesting start to the working day! Never a dull moment.

Im guessing (conservatively) all of my work from yesterday made a cord of splits, rounds etc. His stacks and wood in his truck were already there.

Nice looking wood, Brad! I love the old Ram 50! My buddy Dan had one in high school. My friends and I would all ride in the bed while Dan drove us through the woods at full throttle. Amazing any of us survived.
