I took this week off work for firewood and tree work catch up. I've hauled about 10 cord to various places & yesterday I did some down tree removal. Chase my climber came to the job at 4:30 and we worked till dark getting a dead Hickory down. It was hanging over a glass conservatory lol. Bit of a pucker factor, but we got it down safely.

20210902_092703.jpg Winched the big Hickory log up the hill, cut in three 8' pieces & loaded up. 20210902_134326.jpg Got about 3 1/2 cord of Oak, Elm & Hickory. Got paid for the removal & got some decent firewood. Total job time about 10 hrs so not too bad. 20210902_103218.jpg 20210902_142553.jpg

Nice looking load of primo wood! It’s getting closer to firewood vacations time for me. Got a long weekend with cooler temps to start the cutting fun.
